Miranda majored in Art at Wellington College of Education, graduating in 1992. She is enjoying exploring a variety of styles as well as the landscapes she is known for. These include large abstracts as well as contemporary florals. She has been influenced by Rita Angus, Don Binney, and Robin White.
Since she began painting more or less full time in 2003 she has painted over 1000 originals and her work is all around the world.
