One is never too old to learn something new and I am delighted to have found a hobby that gives many challenges yet can be so satisfying.

Interested people can contact me and view more of my work.

My entry to art began about two and a half years ago when I took some lessons from the late Peggy Lee.  It was something I wanted to try for many years but never had the time.  Peggy gave me encouragement and the confidence to have a go.

I have only dabbled in acrylics, but recently purchased some oils and hope to soon try them.  My “studio” until now has been the dining room table.  Not exactly the best option, but I am now about to convert our sleep-out to become my studio.

I have had the privilege of completing a few commissions and have sold some of my earlier artistic attempts which gives one considerable encouragement.
